Instruction Levels

Our goal is to develop archers that will compete in local, regional and eventually national tournaments. In order to provide our students with opportunities to advance in the sport, and towards this goal, we strive to place student archers in groups that allow them to build a solid foundation for fundamental-skill development and build self-confidence as his/her skill levels increase. The following is a brief description of the instructional levels currently available.

Blue Team - Fundamental Level Archery Instruction

All beginners and new members are required to complete this series of instruction to be considered for advancement to Red or Gold teams. Student may be required to continue their instruction at this level if it is determined the student needs additional time practicing fundamental shooting form and/or building self-confidence. Typical target range for this group will be 10m to 18m.

Red Team - Intermediate Level Archery Instruction

Archer has completed Fundamental Level instruction and has demonstrated he/she has the ability and desire to advance in the sport, but requires additional reinforcement in specific areas. Student may be required to continue their instruction at this level if it is determined the student needs additional shooting time, and/or building self-confidence. Typical target range for this group is 15m to 25m.

Gold Team - Select Level Archery Instruction
