Academy Archery Club is Forsyth County’s newest archery club, recently organized for the purpose of providing area youth the opportunity to learn teamwork, leadership and proper target archery shooting technique. As our student archers progress, the Club will provide many opportunities to participate in fun shoots and tournaments in the local area. The Club is in its formative stage and we welcome participation from parent volunteers who share our passion for the sport and desire to see their children develop and grow.
The Club meets outdoors at Pinecrest Academyin South Forsyth County. Although we are not officially affiliated with the school, we do respect and abide by its rules of conduct for athletic activities.
Academy Archery Club is a USA Archery registered Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) club, and all coaches are USA Archery certified instructors. JOAD is a program that teaches archery to young people; providing great opportunities for awarding achievement, and helping archers enjoy the sport recreationally or progress to the excitement of competition.
For insurance purposes, new member applicants must be a current member of USA Archery. Please follow these links to learn more about USA Archery and the various qualifying memberships including Recreational, Youth, Family or Lifetime options.
